Wandering Thoughts

| Oct. 15th, 2006 05:37 pm How Many are There of Me? I stole this off of dreams_of_him
One of those is my sister-in-law. Our names are even spelled alike! There may be 798 people with my name, but there are 798 versions of my name, too!Current Mood: curious

| Aug. 30th, 2006 07:19 pm Wow, it's been a while. Started at my new school. While it's been good, it's also very stressful. I feel like I'm always one step behind. I think it's because I'm the only "brand new" person on our grade level. Everyone else has been at the school for at least a half year. I'm new to the school, the system, the state, heck, even the region, and I don't know how everything is supposed to work. I'm starting to get more proactive about asking when I don't understand. I'll just look like an idiot. I don't mind. Better than looking like one later when it can't be fixed.
Now, if only the husband could get a job. . . Current Mood: exhausted Current Music: the humming of children

| Jul. 27th, 2006 03:45 pm Joys of Moving Ah, the joys of moving. We made it down to Georgia and have the house unpacked. Now, we just have to find the husband a job. I always loved how everyone looked at us strangely when we said we were moving from Indiana to Georgia because I had a new job. Why is that so strange? Leave a comment | |

| Jul. 5th, 2006 10:07 pm 3 generations in one house So it finally happened today. My mom and I reached the point where we've shared a house for too long. It all started when she came back from visiting my brother and his family for a week, and all I heard was how they disciplined their daughter and how she didn't get away with anything. So, I finally lost it. First, while I love my sister-in-law, she's been a stay at home mom since my niece was born. Plus, they just had a baby, so their kids are four years apart. I had two in two years, and taught the entire time. I do let a little more slide. But, I get tired of hearing how bad my kids are. I have two active boys. That's just the way it is. Oh well, we leave in 8 days. I'm ready to get into my own house. Current Mood: frustrated

| Jul. 4th, 2006 08:59 pm Closing So, we've closed on our house! Yippee! After all of the problems that we ran into in the last few weeks, I didn't even want to think about what might happen until we actually held the check in our hands. Now, I can focus on getting things moved to the new house. That's another huge undertaking. Two preschoolers, a cat, two cars and a 26 foot truck. I can't wait. Leave a comment | |

| Jun. 21st, 2006 02:45 pm First Post So here it is, my very first post. I wish I had something profound and wonderful to say, but I don't. Who knows how often this will get updated. We're in the process of moving to a new state, so the next few weeks will be really busy. But I'll be back often to let you all know how the move goes. Right now, it's too hot here to even think about moving. Or packing for that matter! Leave a comment | |
